What is it that we all want?
Ever wondered- how many times you get this question- in your mind- What is it that I want? What is it that you want? and what is it that everyone wants!!!
I keep thinking why people are not happy? and even if they are- its only short lived-Happiness is a state of mind they say- however- why do most people think that Happiness is related to some materialistic thing or achievement?
What is the key missing link? Why are people always running after something!! burning midnight oil- focusing around ensuring that we keep doing more and more- on one aspect of life, thereby ignoring something else- which is probably equally important...in their life...
Wonderer is what i call when i look all around- everyone is busy, noone has time- but why?
If the situation has to be like this- then should i assume that rich and powerful would be the only section of the people who would survive this mad race? doesnt seems to be the turth of life- afterall no one till date has been able to defeat the ultimate challenger- death? Then why? why we dont value what we have and always want something more, something else.....
Can we do any meaningful work in this life so that we have a sense of satisfcation, a real sense of achievement..

not so sure how many of us think in about these things in today's world....all i could wish and pray for is in time to come- we should hope that the future would be safe and sound- peaceful for the world and for ourselves- to have our next generation live a life which is not what we lead...today- madenning- running- burning out..
Its imperative that we have peace within oneself..a day would come- when my little boy would say- thank u dad.....u taught me the right things....
Amen--lets hope for the same....a day would come...when i would read this and probably feel - that atleast someone may have learnt something about life- if not anyone outside- then myself atleast....to keep reminding oneself that i am not amongst the majority of the mundane people who just dont know- what they want in life? what is the purpose of life....
